Restaurant 2223, San Francisco

Prawns, mussels and clams in yellow thai coconut curry with lemongrass and jasmine rice
”The hotness is just perfect”, cheered Miss H and once again we started a discussion about how good seafood we have eaten in costal California. Even the buttery chardonnay matched the food perfectly.

Catch, San Francisco

Miso glazed grouper, sautéed bok choy, udon noodles, dashi kumbo broth
”I don’t know half of thos words but it sounds good”, said Orvokki.

Actually, everything in Catch has been great, and we were warmly greeted as we stopped there for our last drinks yesterday evening.

Pinot Brasserie by Joachim Splichal, Las Vegas
